Is it actually safe to move to Ukraine right now?
Western Ukraine — Lviv and the surrounding region — has been stable throughout the war. Kyiv is functioning normally, with occasional air raid alerts. We'll be honest during intake about which cities we recommend based on your profession and lifestyle, and help you register with your embassy.
How long does a residence permit actually take?
From a complete file: company formation + 2-year permit usually takes 6–10 weeks. Student visas align with your enrollment date. Unban/deport removal timelines vary by authority review but are typically resolved in 4–8 weeks once filed. Gathering your documents (apostilles, translations) usually takes 2–3 weeks before we file — we handle every step.
Can I do this remotely, or do I need to fly in?
Intake, document review, and most filings happen remotely. You'll need to be physically present in Ukraine for fingerprinting and to collect the physical permit — typically two short trips, or one longer stay. We coordinate everything around your calendar.
What if I start and my case gets rejected?
We screen every case during intake. If we believe yours is unlikely to succeed, we'll tell you in writing before you've paid anything beyond the intake fee — and refund it if you prefer to stop. If we take the case and it's denied through no fault of yours, we refile at no additional legal fee.
Do you help with banking, tax, and accounting?
Yes. For company clients, we open a corporate bank account and include three months of monthly bookkeeping. For student and unban clients, we guide all required legal paperwork and can refer trusted tax/accounting partners if needed after approval.
Can I bring my spouse and children?
Yes — family reunification is handled under the same case. Spouses and children under 18 get residence permits tied to the primary applicant. There's a modest additional state fee per dependent; we'll quote it flat at intake.
Which languages can we work in?
English, Russian, and Ukrainian — fluently, with native lawyers in all three. All final documentation is bilingual (Ukrainian + your language of choice), and we'll interpret every government communication for you in writing.
